If you’re a publicly traded company you must meet all the SEC requirements for your press release. You must distribute your press release through a widely disseminated news or wire service, a place that has “broad public access,” such as a conference.
Business Wire provides complete EDGAR filing services through their EDGARit service.
If your company is publicly traded, include your exchange, stock symbol and International Securities Identifier Number (ISIN). If you use Business Wire you meet will meet the requirements using their tools .
If you use PRWeb you must choose the “Media Visibility package.” These services get the news on financial web sites (there’s a list of financial sites). There are also wire services that cater specifically to publicly traded companies.
